Fred Perry Custom Anniversary Shirts
It's 2013, and for Fred Perry that means its products have been on tennis courts and city streets for sixty years. As part of its anniversary celebration, Fred Perry has enlisted 60 of its most creative fans to customise the classic 1952 Laurel Wreath shirt. Many well known designers, musicians, and athletes have stamped their personality on a Fred Perry shirt for the charity collection, including Damon Albarn, Le Tour champ Bradley Wiggins, Raf Simons, Neville Brody, Walter van Beirendonck, Inez & Vinoodh, BEAMS, Eko Nugroho, Peter Jensen and many others. The first 25 shirts from the collection will be displayed at London's Dover Street Market on January 26, followed by showings in Beijing and Tokyo in March and April. All of the custom shirts will be auctioned later this year, with all proceeds going to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
