Gucci Debut the Ultrapace R on the FW20 Runway
Milan is in the thick of Fashion Week, and as the style cognoscenti peep the threads, our eyes are firmly on the ground, looking at the sneaks sneaking down the runway. And Gucci gave up the goods, debuting the Ultrapace R.
The multilayered model sees a knitted upper shrouded in a swirling translucent overlay, while a contrasting see-through sole adds an extra futuristic touch. Adding the final techy touch, a wire-and-dial arrangement locks everything down.

@highsnobietysneakers: Making its first appearance on the runway of @gucci’s #FW20 fashion show, here is an official look at the all-new “Ultrapace R” footwear model. The brand’s latest silhouette is a running evolution of the Ultrapace from its #SS20 collection, with the “R” in the model’s title aptly standing for “running.” The Ultrapace R features an upper that consists of a lightweight knitted fabric, and a black reflex material to create a three-dimensional effect while also playing with contrasting colors. In addition, the shoe’s running-inspired design is complemented with a transparent outsole and a wired dial for closure. #hskicks 📷: Gucci
No release date on these yet, but expect them to arrive some time in the FW season.
