Steph Curry's New 5s Take Full Advantage of New NBA Rules
The NBA recently changed up its stance on footwear. After years of uniform regulations that restricted colourways and ‘banned’ a certain pair of Air Jordans, the league is now allowing people to wear whatever they like on foot.
And with ballers’ penchants for wild customs, the upcoming season is about to get crazy. Initial evidence of this comes from Steph Curry’s new 5s. Made by celebrated customiser SBTG, these camo Currys will do anything but blend in. SBTG’s characteristic print splays across the uppers, while the midsole is a lively mix of purple flames and red-and-black leopard print.
As Steph said on his Instagram Story when he got his hands on them, the new NBA shoe rules are about to be a problem.

As part of Stephen Curry's Asia tour on Setpember 7th, 2018, we have engaged with Artist @mr_sabotage to work his magic on this pair of Under Armour SC5s as a gift from Singapore to the Basketball Superstar. . The Artist reimagined the SC5s as a soldier armored to fight in camouflage on court. Reinforced with a Fidlock© buckle strap and featuring a fiery animal print on the soles emphasizing on Curry's speed and wits during a game. . The pair is finished with the names of Curry's children; Riley, Ryan and Canon stamped in gold on the laces as a purpose of the fight every time he laces these on. . We presented the sneaker to Stephen at the end of our one-to-one interview with him last Friday, and he responded with delight with a instagram story shoutout to us; A moment to go down not only in LE's history books, but one for Singapore's as well. #LEHitsManila18 #limitededtsg#lebball
